My commitment to every bicycle that leaves the workshop.
This is an English translation for convenience. The Spanish version is the legally binding one.
This is my commitment to every bicycle, fork or stem that leaves the workshop. A clear warranty, no small print.
Coverage
The frames, forks and stems made by Oxia Cycles carry a 5-year warranty for the original owner against manufacturing and material defects.
The third-party components I fit on your bicycle carry the warranty of the relevant brand or supplier, usually 2 years.
What the warranty covers
The warranty covers any manufacturing or design issue, provided the bicycle, frame, fork or stem has been used as intended.
What the warranty does not cover
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Unauthorised modifications.
- Damage caused by accident or improper use.
- Internal corrosion where proper regular maintenance has not been carried out.
- Damage caused by failure to follow the instructions for use.
- Routine servicing.
- Normal paint wear. The bicycles are painted by a specialist third-party paint shop, so any paint defect arising from poor workmanship by the painter is not the responsibility of Oxia Cycles.
Components and compatibility
During the building process, the components needed to begin the design are specified. Oxia Cycles is not responsible for compatibility issues with components that were not available within the required timeframe, or with other components fitted later that the frame was not designed for.
Component assembly must be carried out by a qualified mechanic. Oxia Cycles is not responsible for issues or damage caused by improper assembly.
Products from external suppliers
For products delivered to the client that Oxia Cycles obtained from an external supplier, the Oxia Cycles warranty will be no broader than the warranty the external supplier itself offers to Oxia Cycles.
In the event of a defect
If a product made by Oxia Cycles is found to be defective, Oxia Cycles may, at its discretion:
- Send a replacement item upon return of the original.
- Repair the affected item.
- Grant a discount on the purchase price by mutual agreement.
In the event of an accident or impact
In the event of an accident or impact, repairs or replacement with a new frame will be agreed at a reduced price between both parties.

If you need to claim the warranty or have a question, email me at hola@oxiacycles.com explaining the issue and, if possible, attaching photos. I'll reply personally.
